There are no classes tomorrow, 26 March. I have a long-awaited doctor’s appointment and it’s quite far away. We will resume Friday, 27 March.

Please continue with the March Challenge – bridge pose / pelvic curl x5 – for glutes and hamstrings. We will do in class. Please lmk requests for our April Challenge.

MINI RETREAT DATE HAS CHANGED TO 17-21 APRIL 2026 IN PACIFIC GROVE, NEAR CARMEL IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. Please let me know if you can come. it’ll be a working retreat meaning, lot of time learning drills to master poses you might want to achieve or that you’ve been working on. It’s an incredible opportunity to progress your practice. If possible, please try to come.

Please let me know soonest if you can attend. Information on costs etc. will be out the next couple of days.

i am pulling together a mini retreat. it’s a tough time to get reservations so please lmk if you could come for 15-19 May up near the Sonoma area. It will be focused on deepening your practice. Would love to have you all there. Please send response just to me or via text so people are not inundated with messages. Once I know the numbers I can come back to you with details.

Please join class Monday, 2 March at 0800 – 0900 for one All Levels Class – due to longer than expected travel time to the airport.

March challenge – pelvic curl/bridge: 3 sets, hold each 5 breaths. bonus, stay with hips up (hips, knees, shoulers one straight diagonal line) and press feet down and drag towards shoulders from more hamstring action. can use ball between knees or a block to engage inner thighs or press through insides of feet.

remember, press strongly through hands with straight arms to really engage triceps. arms close to body

start movement with abdominals, hips bones and lowest ribs get closer, at top of range of motion, pull pubic bone towards navel for more abdominals

I will be out of the country in Japan 3-13 March (fly 2 march but will teach before leaving) – doing one of my top 3 wishes to celebrate my fire horse birthday year. it will not be possible to teach during this time. please use videos!!!! they will repeat for a few days so you can begin to master certain sequences!
